East Star wanted their website to be a clean, modern backdrop to showcase their carefully curated products. Because of this, we selected a muted color scheme and some heavy, but simple fonts to convey the modernity and quality of their products.
Because East Star Building Supply has been a San Francisco staple since 1945, it was important that we designed a website that acknowledged their history and contribution to their community, while highlighting their high-quality products. There needed to be a carefully curated balance of both elements within this site.
The East Star website shows how varying design choices can cohesively come together. We loved helping bring East Star’s strong community foundation and high-end design sensibilities together.
